Ofra Yeshua-Lyth is a former journalist, media and strategy consultant, active in political issues. Her articles on these topics were published in the newspaper “Ma’ariv” and on various websites. She was “Ma’ariv” foreign correspondent in Washington and Germany, and the editor of the weekend Supplement “Sof-Shavua”. First edition of the book Eretz, Brith published by Nimrod in 2004. Updated second edition, with an evaluation article of late author Aharon Amir, was published by Ma’ariv in 2011. In 2014 the English version of the book was self-published under the title: The Case for a Secular New Jerusalem. In 2016 Skyscraper Books, UK, initiated the updated edition with a new title: Politically Incorrect; Why a Jewish State is a Bad Idea. By her writing and political activity, Yeshua-Lyth seeks to promote the concept of one democratic secular state, with complete separation of religion and state, free of ethnic or religious affiliation of its citizens. That country has room for Jews and non-Jews, including the descendants of Palestinian refugees who were expelled or fled in 1948.
